This position will be responsible for redesigning the information architecture of the sales support intranet to enhance the user experience.
Identify user requirements for the intranet’s information architecture and reference tools within the intranet by researching and analyzing needs and preferences, and working methods.
Plan and support the redesign of the intranet’s information architecture and reference tools, and optimize for desktop and mobile.
Develop document design standards and support implementation by developing training for Communication Specialists.
Support implementation of document design standards by writing or rewriting content and working with SMEs to review articles for accuracy and completeness.
Validate information delivery by developing and completing usability test and studying user feedback.
Refine existing Article Quality Index criteria and process, and design a multi-brand document maintenance calendar.
What You Bring to the Table
Degree or Certificate in Information Architecture, Information Science, Library Science or similar.
Minimum 2 years of experience (4+ years preferred) supporting information architecture projects or intranet migrations.
Experience developing, implementing and maintaining the information architecture and design of large and complex web sites (preferably intranets).
Experience championing user experience in design through the application of standard UX tools and approaches.
Works well with others and collaborates effectively with SMEs, cross-functional groups and with team members.
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
