Job Details
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Read and use layouts and schematics to assemble and wire Vacuum Trucks and truck sub-components (pumps, blowers, PTO’s, etc…).
Mechanical: Use of hand tools, power tools, and air tools are required.
Employee operates drill press, band saw, parts washer, crimper & overhead crane, and other heavy industrial equipment.
Installation of electric wiring, pneumatics and hydraulics
Workplace Housekeeping
Other duties as assigned of this position.
Education and Experience
Vocational Training
Previous Hydraulic and/or electrical experience preferred
Previous experience in Mechanical Assembly is preferred
Preference will be given to those with previous automotive mechanical experience
Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Basic math, tape measure reading. Fractions & decimals. Metric and Imperial.
Ability to understand and execute written and oral instructions.
Must have and provide own tools (including air tools)

Functional Expert: Considered a thought leader on a subject


3 years: Mechanical Assembly
2-3 years: Hydraulic Installation/Repair
