Role Overview
The SeniorManager, Capital Markets is responsible for leading investor reporting,analytics, and communication across CBRE Capital Canada’s lending platform.This role will act as a key partner to the Director, Capital Markets,translating complex loan activity, portfolio performance, and fundingstrategies into actionable insights and investor-facing deliverables.
The role willalso lead process standardization and reporting infrastructure, ensuringscalability and consistency across national operations.
KeyResponsibilities
InvestorReporting Leadership
Own the end-to-end production ofinvestor reporting packages (pipeline, fundings, portfolio performance,repayments, maturity tracking)
Ensure reporting accuracy,consistency, and timeliness across all funding partners
Establish standardized reportingframeworks across regions and teams
StrategicAnalytics & Insights
Lead analysis of lending activityacross CMHC and conventional program
Provide insights on trends such as:
Origination volumes and pipelineconversion
Spread performance and execution
Maturity and refinance activity
Deliver insights that directlyinform funding strategy and investor discussions
Investor-FacingSupport & Messaging
Partner with the Director to developinvestor presentations, updates, and materials
Translate complex internal data intoclear, compelling investor narratives
Support and, where appropriate,participate in investor meetings and discussions
Cross-FunctionalLeadership
Act as a liaison between CapitalMarkets and:
Originations / Production
Loan Closing / Servicing
Finance / Accounting
Drive alignment on key data inputs,reporting definitions, and timelines
Resolve discrepancies across systemsand teams
Process Design& Automation
Lead development of scalablereporting processes and tools
Implement automation using advancedExcel and AI (and VBA where applicable)
Improve data integrity and reducemanual processes across reporting workflows
Team &Workflow Oversight
Set priorities, manage timelines,and ensure high-quality outputs
Act as escalation point for complexreporting or data issues
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in realestate finance, capital markets, lending, or investor reporting
Strong knowledge of commercial andCMHC real estate debt
Strong knowledge of NHA MBS and ABCPaccounting rules, journals and ledger entries
Advanced Excel expertise (complexmodels, dashboards; automation/VBA preferred)
Proven experience workingcross-functionally in a transaction-driven environment
Strong communication skills with theability to present to senior stakeholders

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary being offered for this position is $140,000-$155,000 annually.
