Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering - Job Description:
This project involves the design, implementation, and management of Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks with a focus on architecture and engineering. The role requires enhancing security and operational efficiency through innovative IAM solutions and leading a team of engineers.
Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering - Responsibilities:
- Design and manage access certification and compliance processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards like SOX and OSFI.
- Develop automated lifecycle management processes for timely provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Implement role-based access control models and entitlement governance.
- Design and implement Single Sign-On solutions and manage authentication frameworks.
- Engineer and integrate IAM platforms for scalable and secure identity services.
- Utilize scripting languages for automation and optimization of IAM processes.
- Lead and mentor IAM engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders on access control policies.
- Conduct access reviews and integrate IAM solutions with security controls.
Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering - Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive experience in IAM roles with a focus on architecture and engineering.
- Proven expertise with IAM tools/platforms like Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Okta, SailPoint, IBM Verify.
- Strong understanding of IAM frameworks and security principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, or Azure fundamentals.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Solid understanding of enterprise software architecture and infrastructure security.
- Ability to create detailed documentation and user manuals.
- Experience with API-based services for automation.

This is a 6-month contract position to start.
