Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Controller (CFO-to-be) to join our team on a part-time basis (with an intention to go full-time when needed) and take on the exciting challenge of organizing financial reporting for our franchisor operations while providing guidance and support to our franchisees in understanding financial reports and planning for success. This role will play a critical part in our journey towards an IPO and managing tuck-in acquisitions. If you're a finance professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles, a knack for working with investors, and a desire to lead us through the IPO process, we want to hear from you!
Core Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee financial reporting for the franchisor operations;
- Collaborate with franchisees to enhance their understanding of financial reports and assist in financial planning;
- Manage and guide the company's financial strategy and goals;
- Work closely with investors and stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial objectives;
- Lead the planning and execution of tuck-in acquisitions to support our growth strategy;
- Prepare the company for an IPO and take a leadership role in the process;
- Contribute to the development of financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required; CPA or CFA designation is a plus;
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a franchisor or similar environment;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting;
- Experience with tuck-in acquisitions and investor relations;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
