Job Summary
We are seeking a polished and customer-focused Fine Jewelry Sales Associate to join our luxury retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for jewelry and fashion, and the ability to provide exceptional service to our discerning clientele. This role involves engaging customers, showcasing our exquisite jewelry collections, and driving sales through personalized experiences. Fluency in multiple languages and experience in retail or technology sales are highly valued. The Sales Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment that encourages customer loyalty and enhances the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance in selecting fine jewelry pieces
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and interest
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure displays are attractive and organized
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product organization
- Provide detailed product knowledge to educate customers about materials, craftsmanship, and care instructions
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain organizational skills to keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked at all times
- Demonstrate effective time management to balance multiple customer interactions during busy periods.
- Light daily cleaning, dusting and vacuuming.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within luxury jewelry or high-end retail environments
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and engage customers effectively
- Organizational skills with keen attention to detail for maintaining displays and stock levels
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple priorities
- Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele
- Experience in technology or technical sales is a plus but not required
