Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office and Sales Assistant to support our company in sales, administrative, website, online advertising, and customer service operations. This role is essentially helping the owner out with all these aspects and dealing with both inside and outside sales. The company is growing and you can grow with it provided you have energy and a good work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and have experience in industrial, machinery, etc., sales.
Duties
- Handle inside and outside sales
- Handle shipping of merchandise
- Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office
- Maintain organized filing systems both digitally and physically
- Support sales activities by processing transactions, updating customer records, and assisting with inquiries
- Provide customer support via cold calls, follow up calls, email, in person meetings using professional etiquette, etc.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, inventory, and record keeping
- Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution
Requirements
- Previous experience with inside and outside sales in industrial, heavy machinery, etc. sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), CRM, etc.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred
- Strong organizational in data entry and document proofreading
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- Valid BC drivers license
Pay: $17.85-$30.49 per hour
