Prairie Sun Brewery is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and positive Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our Back of House team.
As a key member of our operation, you will play an essential role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency throughout the kitchen. Your work helps ensure our culinary team can deliver exceptional food and service to every guest.

Position Summary
The Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining clean dishes, glassware, utensils, kitchen equipment, and workspaces while supporting the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, cutlery, cookware, and kitchen tools
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing and kitchen areas
- Assist with waste removal, recycling, and composting procedures
- Sweep and mop floors as required
- Help maintain clean and organized storage areas
- Support kitchen staff with basic prep and cleaning tasks when needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented workplace culture
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is considered an asset but is not required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Dependable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
