Full-Time & Part-Time
Pushpa’s Aesthetics is looking for an experienced, professional and client-focused Aesthetician to join our established beauty and aesthetics team in Etobicoke.
We are looking for someone who is confident in threading and waxing, enjoys working with clients, and is interested in building a long-term position with our Spa.
Experience with laser hair removal, facials and other aesthetic treatments is an asset.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Eyebrow and facial threading
- Face and body waxing
- Laser hair-removal treatments
- Facials and skincare treatments
- Client consultations
- Recommending appropriate services and treatment packages
- Upselling services when appropriate based on client needs
- Educating clients about treatments, preparation and aftercare
- Maintaining clean and sanitized treatment rooms and equipment
- Providing excellent customer service
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Assisting with general salon duties as required
What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Minimum 1 year of professional threading experience
- Minimum 1 year of professional waxing experience
- Previous experience working in a salon, spa, beauty or aesthetics environment
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable recommending services and products based on client needs
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred
- Laser hair-removal experience
- Aesthetics, Laser or Medical Aesthetics certification
- Facial and skincare treatment experience
- Experience with service upgrades, packages and product sales
- Experience performing multiple beauty and aesthetic services
Compensation
Starting pay: From $18.00 per hour
Starting hourly rate will be based on experience and skill level.
Additional earning opportunities include:
- Commission on qualifying service upgrades
- Commission on treatment packages
- Commission on product sales
- Commission on select premium services
- Client tips
Job Types
Candidates should have flexible availability, including weekdays and Saturdays.
