Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dentist (DDS) to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric care and proficiency in dental software systems. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence. The DDS will collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional patient experiences and uphold the practice’s reputation for quality care.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
- Utilize dental software such as Cleardent and Curve for patient record management and treatment planning.
- Perform pediatric dental procedures with sensitivity to young patients’ needs.
- Take and interpret dental radiographs; create detailed treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures performed, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including CAD/CAM systems for restorations.
Experience
- Valid DDS license with active state licensure required.
- Prior experience in general dentistry is preferred; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Cleardent and Curve is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience working with CAD systems for designing restorations is advantageous.
- Previous dental office experience demonstrating excellent patient care skills preferred.
