We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team in the food processing industry. The ideal candidate will support daily operations by assisting with packaging, sanitation, and equipment handling.
This is a contract position starting ASAP (August 17) and it will be a full time position 5 days a week
Pay $20/hour
Requirements:
- Physically able to perform duties assigned
- Able to lift a minimum of 25lb to a maximum of 30lbs
- Must obtain Basic Food Service Training certification
- WHIMIS Certificate & 4 Steps H&S Certificate
- Police Background Check and clean and cleared
- Transportation - Ability to get to work and in a timely manner. Milton Ontario
- Able to work in a cold (+1 Degree C). Fridge & Freezers
- Able to work with a variety of cleaning soaps and sanitizers
- Able to work with a variety of foods, Meats, Cold Cuts, Fish, Poultry, Vegetables, Sauces, etc
- Foods consists of working with Kosher, Halal, Medical and other Lifestyle Diets
- Footwear – must have Black Steele toe CSA non-slip Safety Shoes

Responsibilities / Job
- General Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse duties
- General Sanitation, cleaning, wiping, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and waste removal
- General Dish & Pot washing. Working alone with Hot and cold water and Chemical Detergents
- General work with food. This is 90% of the work. This involves: Unboxing, unbagging and unpackaging of a variety of foods. Prepping, cutting, mixing, cooking, portioning of foods. Scooping and portioning food on the line with other teammates
