The Seniors Moving Company has proudly served Manitoba's older adults for over 20 years. We specialize in customized downsizing, relocation, and estate services, helping clients and their families navigate important life transitions with care, compassion, and professionalism.
We are looking for a Crew Lead / Packing Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated individual who enjoys working directly with people and making a positive difference in their lives.
As a key member of our team, you will lead by example, provide exceptional customer service, and help ensure every project is completed with attention to detail, efficiency, and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects and ensure all details are organized and in place
- Lead onsite operations and supervise team members
- Pack and unpack clients' belongings with care and attention
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, including movers, cleaners, and disposal services
- Communicate with clients throughout the moving and downsizing process
- Work collaboratively with the Seniors Moving Company management team
- Manage moving supplies and materials, including deliveries and pickups
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach at all times
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Leadership experience or the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Compassion, patience, and understanding when working with older adults and their families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including packing, unpacking, and lifting household items
- Valid Manitoba driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (required)
