Speedy Auto Service Waterloo has an immediate opening for an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team.

Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license.
This is also a hands-on position. You must like working with customers, staff and working on cars. It is a fast-paced environment.

Job Description...
- Understand all aspects of the Service Operation
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Assist Technicians, as required
- Maintain High level of Customer Service and Satisfaction
- Assist with Technical issues as needed
- Maintain a safe and productive working environment
- Perform Brake and Suspension work as required
- Ability to do alignments
- Ability to do all vehicle service requirements.
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- Maintain a clean and safe bay area before, during and after vehicle servicing.
- REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Some prior experience in an automotive environment is required
- Ability to communicate technical information in a simple manner
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations
- Valid G License with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Willing to learn more as a part of further personal development
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

- automotive technician: 3 years (preferred)
