Job Description: As an Athletic Therapist at Divergent, you will play a key role in helping our clients recover from sports-related injuries, prevent future injuries, and enhance their overall athletic performance. You will work closely with clients to assess injuries, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic techniques to promote healing and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' injuries and conditions
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities
- Educate clients on injury prevention strategies and rehabilitation exercises
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Requirements:
- Certified Athletic Therapist (CATA) designation
- Current registration in good standing with the CATA
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience working with athletes and sports-related injuries is an asset
