Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Huntsville, Ontario. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and safety of our hotel facilities, ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless stay. The Maintenance Technician will contribute to our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. This is a part-time opportunity, with potential to grow into a full-time role, based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities and equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential maintenance needs.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with mechanical systems and repairs.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to maintenance work.
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel maintenance is a plus.
