We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating skid steers to support various construction and landscaping projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties
- Operate skid steer loaders for various tasks including grading, backfills
- Collaborate with team members to build structures and complete projects according to specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Skills
- Proficient in skid steers operation
- Experience with lot grading and backfills is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others on site.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues is beneficial.
- Valid Drivers License is required
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
