Summary
We are seeking a dedicated General Worker to join our team in Ottawa. This role is vital in supporting our construction projects and ensuring the successful completion of various building tasks aligned with our company's mission of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site construction activities and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing materials and tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks.
- Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Valid driver’s licence and vehicle to get to site
