Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Roofer Helper to assist with residential and commercial roofing projects. Responsibilities
- Assist roofers with installing, repairing, and replacing roofing materials on various structures
- Carry and organize roofing supplies, tools, and equipment on job sites
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and measuring devices to support roofing tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials like shingles, plywood, and metal sheets
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Support carpentry tasks including framing and blueprint reading as needed
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and durability of roofing systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration
Requirements
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry is preferred
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading is a plus
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Handyman experience or familiarity with caulking is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred

Pay: $20.98-$42.41 per hour
