Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Mainframe and Wealth Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex business processes, translating requirements into technical solutions, and supporting the development and implementation of wealth management systems. Duties
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to mainframe systems and wealth management processes.
- Develop detailed functional specifications, process flows, and data models using tools like Visio and database design principles.
- Conduct data analysis using SQL, R, Python, and Oracle to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and implement dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and VBA to visualize key performance indicators and support decision-making.
- Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder communication.
- Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for projects ensuring quality standards are met from initiation through deployment.
- Perform system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Assist in database management tasks on Microsoft SQL Server and Unix shell scripting (Bash) for automation purposes.
- Provide ongoing support for wealth management applications by analyzing system performance and recommending enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Mainframe systems and Wealth Management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies, SDLC processes, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, Python, Oracle, VBA, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with database design, analysis skills, and analytics to interpret complex datasets effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Visio for process modeling.
- Technical skills including Bash (Unix shell scripting), Oracle database management, and VBA scripting are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
- Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
