Fern Creek Psychotherapy is growing, and we’re looking to hire 2 experienced Couples Therapist to join our team at any of our locations.
We’re looking for a warm, skilled, and relational therapist who genuinely enjoys working with couples and is passionate about helping partners reconnect, communicate more effectively, and build healthier relationships. About Fern Creek Psychotherapy
Fern Creek Psychotherapy is a growing group practice serving individuals, couples, children, youth, and families across Ontario. We believe therapy should feel human, approachable, and meaningful—not clinical or one-size-fits-all. Our team is collaborative, supportive, and committed to providing high-quality, evidence-informed care while reducing barriers to accessing mental health services.
About the Role
As a Couples Therapist at Fern Creek, you will provide psychotherapy to couples through virtual and/or in-person sessions. You’ll work with couples from a variety of backgrounds and presenting concerns while developing treatment plans that reflect each couple’s unique goals and needs. You will have the option to also see individuals.
We’re particularly interested in therapists with training or experience in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method, or other evidence-informed couples approaches.
You’ll also have opportunities to collaborate with other therapists within our practice when couples work intersects with individual, family, or youth mental health needs.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Registered Social Worker (RSW), Psychologist, or otherwise appropriately registered to provide psychotherapy in Ontario
- Has specific training and/or meaningful clinical experience in couples therapy
- Is comfortable working with couples experiencing significant relationship distress and conflict
- Has a strong understanding of attachment, relational dynamics, and emotional regulation
- Brings warmth, empathy, confidence, and authenticity to their clinical work
- Is comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative member of a team
- Values ongoing professional development and consultation
- Maintains strong clinical documentation and professional standards
- Is reliable, organized, and committed to providing an excellent client experience
Additional training in EFT, Gottman, IFS, or another recognized couples therapy model is an asset.
