Primary Responsibilities
As a PUF Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential early intervention services within our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs. Key duties include:

Classroom-Based Intervention: Delivering occupational consultation directly within Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom activities to support fine motor development, self-regulation, and functional daily living skills.

Collaborative Planning: Liaising closely with teachers, educational team specialists, and parents as a core member of the child’s multidisciplinary programming.

Environment Optimization: Providing recommendations for classroom modifications, sensory supports, and assistive technology to enhance student participation and independence.

Documentation & Reporting: Completing notes (including year-end summaries) for parents and internal/external professionals.

Capacity Building: Providing targeted professional development to teachers and educational assistants regarding sensory processing, motor skills when applicable
