Sign Technician / General Labourer

Sun Signs Canada is looking for a motivated and reliable Sign Technician / General Labourer to join our team.
This is a hands-on role that offers a variety of work environments and projects. No two days are the same, and you will gain valuable experience in sign manufacturing, installation, maintenance, construction and advertising displays throughout the community.
Responsibilities
● Assist with the installation and maintenance of commercial signs.
● Work with vinyl graphics and sign application materials.
● Learn basic LED lighting and sign wiring.
● Operate ladders and assist with boom truck work.
● Take site photographs of completed projects for company advertising and documentation.
● Assist with shop production, fabrication, and general labour tasks.
● Ensure installations are completed safely and professionally.
● Work at various job sites and locations throughout the region.
Qualifications
● Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
● Comfortable working at heights.
● Ability to safely use ladders and work from aerial lift equipment.
● Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and installing signage materials.
● Valid driver’s license required.
● CLEAN Class 5 driver’s licence is considered a strong asset.
● Experience in sign installation, construction, electrical work, vinyl application, or general labour is an asset but not required.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
