As a Manager, People and Culture you will build, support and lead employee engagement initiatives and programs including annual Employee engagement survey and action planning, exit surveys, leadership development programs and other initiatives to increase employee engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Administer annual engagement survey

Manage, launch and administer the annual employee engagement survey across the organization
Design tools for leaders to develop impactful action-plans to address employee feedback and measure action planning outcomes
Act as program manager for annual engagement survey. Manage all coordination of survey initiatives including planning, communication, scheduling and follow up
Complete summary reporting in a compelling way that clearly communicates strengths and opportunity to drive future action

Drive a Best in Class Employee Experience

Track key teammate feedback metrics (ie. onboarding surveys, engagement survey, exit interviews etc). Identify trends and recommend solutions to address issues relating to employee engagement and measure action planning outcomes
Act as the Project Manager for engagement related tasks. Develop project plans, ensure buy in from key stakeholders, implement, follow up and measure
Guide the preparation, alignment and recommendation on policies and procedures relating to Employee Engagement
Support our Manager, Corporate Events and Director, Communication with internal event planning and communication related to employee engagement

Support Employer Branding Initiatives

Support engagement inside our business and out. Work with our Talent Attraction team to ensure key talent attraction platforms represent our culture and we are responding to reviews when it makes sense to do so

Skills & Experience

Completion of a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or a related discipline – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
Canadian Human Resources Professional (CHRP), Change Management and Lean Six Sigma Certification would be an asset
3-5 years’ experience in a related HR role or a combination of experience deemed equivalent
Understanding and knowledge of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion would be an asset
Ability to analyze data and produce reports that provide valuable insight for decision-making
Track record of demonstrable technical competence in designing and delivering engagement programs that achieve improvements in employee experience, is ideal
Knowledge of training and coaching principles, is ideal
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead and/or work as a team member and build and maintain a positive work environment
Passionate about making work better for people and understand the ROI of driving a best in class teammate experience
