What You'll Do Here:
At Aecon, people are at the heart of everything we do. Aecon is focused on identifying, attracting, and hiring talented and diverse Paving Personnel for the 2025 Construction Season.
Operate the heavy equipment in a safe manner.
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the paver.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team:
2-3 years’ experience as a heavy equipment operator
2-3 years’ experience working on municipal and highway
Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license or better.
Willing to work overtime, as required.
Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
Ability to communicate and report effectively in a team environment.
