About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor for a busy and reputable independent automotive repair facility in Mississauga, Ontario.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor who combines exceptional customer service with strong automotive knowledge. You'll be the key connection between customers and technicians, ensuring repairs are communicated clearly, completed efficiently, and delivered with an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a professional, friendly, and positive service experience.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Prepare repair orders and explain recommended maintenance and repair services.
- Provide accurate estimates and obtain customer approvals.
- Coordinate repair schedules with technicians to maximize shop efficiency.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process with timely updates.
- Review completed repairs and invoices with customers upon vehicle delivery.
- Recommend preventative maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships through exceptional service.
- Maintain accurate customer records using Protractor shop management software.
- Work closely with technicians and management to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Consistently deliver a high level of professionalism and customer care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor in an independent automotive repair shop or dealership is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and explain vehicle repairs confidently.
- Excellent English communication skills with a professional, customer-first approach.
- Experience using Protractor shop management software is required.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced service environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.

- Experience working in high-volume independent repair facilities or dealerships.
- Ability to confidently explain technical repairs in simple, customer-friendly language.
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills without high-pressure selling.
- Proven ability to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
