We care about clients & our team, who contribute so much to the company’s success, & are looking for someone who can work effectively solo as a General Office Clerk playing an important role in ensuring smooth & efficient operations.
This will be a 5-day per week position, 8am – 5pm starting at $19.00/hr.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Greeting clients & providing information via in-person, phone, email, messenger
· Taking janitorial supply orders & bulk material orders
· Scheduling/managing bulk material deliveries & pick-up sales
· Receiving & sorting daily mail
· Maintaining office filing system
· Ensure office area is tidy, presentable & organized
· Update calendar & schedule quotes
· Record expenses via bookkeeping software
· Invoice customers via bookkeeping software
· Data Entry & Invoicing
· Perform other clerical duties such as photocopying & scanning
· Gathering occasional janitorial product orders in preparation for delivery/pick-up
· Occasional janitorial product deliveries
· Disbursing applicable paperwork for units in fleet as required
· Creating/organizing documents for safety certification as required
· Monitoring/calculating employee timecards
· Oversee office supplies & equipment, coordinate orders as required
· Assist management with administrative tasks
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· 1-2 years office experience
· Experience with Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel required
· Experience with Adobe, Mail, Gmail & QuickBooks an asset
· Professional attitude & attire
· Solid written & verbal communication skills
· Strong customer service & organizational skills
· Time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
· Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license
· Work References Required
