Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Applicant must be fluent in Tagalog / English Language. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinical operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Experience with dental software such as Abel dent, as well as familiarity with basic dentistry and medical terminology, will be highly valued. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including exams, restorations, and RC treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks typically associated with a dental receptionist role
- Assist with sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and medical terminology standards
Experience
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but not necessary.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Abeldent is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is advantageous
- Experience working with CAD technology for digital imaging or restorations is a plus
- Certification in dental assisting or related training programs is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role
