Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to join us. This role combines customer service and administrative responsibilities with a little bit of hands-on picture framing work. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and comfortable working with both people and precise measurements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting framing options and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Assembling frame components, fitting, cleaning and finishing frame jobs
- Deliver excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email
- Accurately measure artwork and framing components
- Input job details, measurements, and orders into the POS system
- Prepare work orders and maintain organized records
- Handle general administrative tasks such as invoicing and order tracking
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with basic math and measuring (must be comfortable using metric measurements)
- Experience with POS systems or willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Previous framing, retail, or design experience is an asset but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
