Heavy Equipment Field Technician:

We are growing and are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Field Technician to join our Team.
Position Summary:
The Heavy Equipment Field Technician works with our Field Service Manager to respond to service calls at customer locations. At the job site they are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment, to help ensure optimal performance. This role involves working in the field, at client locations, to address equipment issues promptly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- The field technician is responsible for completing quality repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of equipment in and around Calgary.
- Completing Preventative maintenance services as set out by our checklists and identifying possible failures before they lead to downtime.
- Completing equipment diagnostics and competently communicate issues with customers and Management.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
- Additional tasks as related to the position from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- 3rd or 4th year Journeyman H.E.T technicians only will be considered.
- 5 Years minimum construction equipment experience.
- Have a complete set of hand and air tools, specialty diagnostic equipment and large tools will be supplied.
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of heavy equipment field repairs.
- Dealership experience and training considered an asset.
- Proficient in equipment, Hydraulic, and Electrical diagnostics.
- Able to read and apply electrical and Hydraulic schematics to assist in diagnostics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
