An exciting opportunity exists to support our maintenance department in an ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 registered premier metal finishing company primarily servicing the automotive and construction industries.
RESPONISIBILITES:
- Responsible for working in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures.
- Responsible for routine maintenance and repairs of metal finishing equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Perform appropriate preventative Maintenance work per the maintenance schedule.
- Verifies and communicates repairs are complete and effective.
- Perform continuous improvements and enhancements to equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Responsible for inventory and some purchasing of maintenance supplies.
- Working collaboratively with machine operators to solve mechanical matters.
- Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum high school diploma is required.
- Certified industrial Mechanic or Millwright or equivalent manufacturing mechanical work experience in the trade will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in an industrial manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical experience is required.
- Knowledge pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing and welding is also required.
- Excellent leadership, organization, written and verbal communication and comprehension of the English language.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills and ability to drive to root cause.
ENTAILMENTS:
- Must be available for overtime when required and some weekends.
- The successful candidate will supply own tools for the requirements of this position.
