Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a range of skills including commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance..
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or freight delivery preferred.
- Skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, or automotive repair are advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Prior experience with freight handling or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, with the flexibility to handle various operational tasks related to freight delivery.
Pay: $170.00-$210.00 per day
