Overview
Expeditors Plus provides critical logistics and transportation for Manitoba’s premier northern lodges. We are looking for a highly reliable Logistics and Transport Specialist to be the "face of the lodge" for arriving guests and the engine behind our supply chain.
Reporting directly to the President/Owner, you will manage everything from guest transport to flight manifests and procurement. This is a hands-on role requiring a mix of professional driving, administrative precision, and proactive ownership.
What You’ll Do
- Guest Concierge & Transport: Provide "meet and greet" services; transport guests/luggage to airports, hotels, and airbases (St. Andrews, Lac du Bonnet, etc.).
- Flight & Cargo Logistics: Assist with flight manifests, guest changeovers, and calculating aircraft weight/load balances for safety.
- Procurement & Shopping: Act as a "personal shopper" for lodge supplies; manage warehouse inventory (manual and digital), sorting, and weighing freight.
- Order Tracking: Monitor incoming orders and priority requests; verify packing slips and handle shipping documentation.
- Secure Errands: Handle lodge mail and basic banking tasks as a bonded representative of the company.
What You Bring
- License: Valid Manitoba Class 4 Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physicality: Ability to lift and move heavy luggage/freight (up to 60 lbs) regularly.
- Schedule: Full commitment to the summer season, including 4:00 AM starts, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliability: You are bondable and can pass an Enhanced Criminal Record Check.
- Skills: Strong math skills, comfort with Google Workspace, and excellent communication skills.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Winnipeg city routes and regional airbases.
