Job Summary
We are seeking a commercial Glaziers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, aluminum frames and glass in various structures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A background in glazing or construction is required.
Responsibilities
- Complete tasks assigned by project managers/ team leaders.
- Install glass panels in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications.
- Repair or replace broken glass in existing installations.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and prevent leaks.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols while on the job site.
- Conduct hazard assessments and implement safety controls where necessary.
- install all window framing materials according to specifications.
- Ensure work it completed to the highest standard of quality.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to glazing work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with curtainwall and aluminum framing installation.
- Knowledge of construction standard practices.
- Experience operating equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts.
- implementation of Safe work practices and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Requirements:
- Must be able to collaborate and work with others, as well as independently.
- Must provide own hand tools.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills
- Strong knowledge of curtainwall and storefront glazing systems
- Fall arrest, boom & scissor lift , and WHMIS certifications are essential.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial glass installation.
- Familiarity with building blueprints, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to lift 70+lbs.
- Reliable transportation to worksite.

Pay: $26.00-$42.00 per hour
