We are seeking experienced Owner Operators to join our logistics team. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own vehicle and operate within a dynamic transportation network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight movement, commercial driving, and heavy equipment operation, with a focus on safety and efficiency. As an Owner Operator, you will play a critical part in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes efficiently and safely
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of your vehicle to ensure optimal performance
- Manage freight documentation and delivery schedules accurately
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues encountered
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or automotive repairs when necessary to support logistical functions
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and other machinery safely and proficiently
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills for managing schedules, documentation, and freight handling
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on specific role requirements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
Pay: $200.00-$300.00 per day
