Machine Operator / Production Technician
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator / Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, preparing materials to customer specifications, and assisting with packaging and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a hydraulic shear/cutting machine to cut large stainless steel sheets into custom sizes according to production orders.
- Cut large plastic (PVC) rolls into customer-specified dimensions using production cutting equipment.
- Operate a corner punching machine to punch and finish stainless steel sheets.
- Operate a PVC lamination machine as required.
- Build custom wooden crates and carton boxes for packaging finished products for shipment.
- Pack finished products securely to ensure safe transportation.
- Read and follow work orders, drawings, and production instructions.
- Perform quality inspections to verify dimensions and product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues.
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Experience with cutting, shearing, laminating, or packaging equipment is an asset.
- Ability to accurately measure materials using tape measures and other measuring tools.
- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Forklift experience is an asset (training/certification can be provided if required).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
