We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer with over five years of expertise to join our dynamic remote team. Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define app features and functionalities aligned with project goals.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and JSON to enhance app capabilities.
- Implement UI/UX best practices utilizing UIKit, SwiftUI, and other relevant frameworks to ensure intuitive user interfaces.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure robust performance across various devices and iOS versions.
- Participate in code reviews, version control (GitHub), and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient development cycles.
- Work closely with back-end teams to optimize data flow using technologies like MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL databases.
- Utilize tools such as Xcode, Visual Studio Code, Jenkins, Jira, Trello, and Azure DevOps for project management and development workflows.
- Stay updated on the latest iOS development trends, frameworks like React Native for cross-platform solutions, and emerging technologies such as AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Contribute to system architecture planning and application design considering scalability, security, and performance.
Experience
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in iOS application development.
- Proven expertise in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles with experience in UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Hands-on experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular, jQuery), AJAX, SCSS, JSON, XML for hybrid or integrated solutions.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker; server-side frameworks such as Spring Framework or Django is a plus.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies; familiarity with SDLC processes is essential.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab repositories, SVN version control systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles involving RESTful APIs, web services (SOAP), GraphQL APIs.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining excellent communication skills.
