Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer and Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves installing tiles and performing various construction tasks to support residential and commercial projects. Duties
- Install tiles on floors, walls, and countertops using appropriate techniques and tools
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or mortar
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform framing, carpentry, and other construction-related tasks as needed
- Use hand tools such as trowels, saws, levels, and drills to complete installations
- Apply caulking and sealing materials for finished surfaces to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal
- Assist with general handyman tasks including repairs, maintenance, and small-scale construction projects
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work site throughout each project
Experience
- Proven experience in tile laying, flooring installation, or related construction work preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, blueprint reading, carpentry, caulking, and general handyman skills highly desirable
- Prior experience in construction or remodeling projects is advantageous
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction environments
