Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This position involves assisting with various manual tasks across different work sites, supporting ongoing projects, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to team success.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain a tidy work area
- Support skilled trades by carrying tools, supplies, and materials as needed
- Help with assembly, disassembly, and installation tasks under supervision
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and materials on-site
- Support team members in completing projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Need to the basic knowledge of tools like wrenches, power tools.
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or manual labour is a plus but not required
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
Pay: $25.00 per hour
