Job Opportunity: Part time – Summer Nanny (Toronto)
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP for the Summer
Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour (Commensurate with education and experience)
Environment: Non-smoking home with one cat.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a professional, live-out or live-in nanny for a family in Toronto with one toddler. This is a for a candidate who is highly dependable and flexible. Note: The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel up North to the Cottage for 2 weeks at a time for July and August.
Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare: Provide high-quality, client-centered care with a focus on safety and developmental engagement.
- Household Support: Assist with meal preparation, cooking, children’s laundry, and light housekeeping.
- Travel: Summer trips to the Cottage.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2–3 years of professional childcare experience with strong references.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation.
- Credentials: Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates.
- Security: A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is mandatory.
- Transportation: A valid Driver’s License is required. While a personal vehicle is preferred, the location is accessible via public transit.
