West Island Cats is looking for a responsible and dependable individual to join our team.

Your role as our next cat-sitter includes (but not limited to):

This part of the role can be anywhere from 10-40 hours per week depending on the season.

Must be able to work in the Dorval and Lachine areas.

-Care for, be attentive to all of our kitty and human clients’ needs.

-Be an honest, trustworthy, punctual and dedicated individual who prides themselves on a job well done.

-Perform other household duties such as but not limited to light plant watering, taking out the garbage and even possibly light snow shoveling .

-Communicate quickly and effectively within the team and with clients

Requirements:

-You have your own car and cell phone accessible to you at all times.

-You are very comfortable with technology and sending/receiving emails and texts.

-You are able to work both mornings and evenings. Mid-day work is generally less.

-You are available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays

Skills:

-Strong communication skills

-Attention to detail

-Everyday experience with cats is an asset

-Ability to work with a certain amount of autonomy but yet can still follow set guidelines

Your role as an Administrative Assistant includes (but is not limited to):

This part of the role can be anywhere from 4-10 per week depending on the need

(subject to change)

-General support to the owner

-Help with the day to day work such as:

Updating client profiles, delegating bookings, contacting/answering customers, inter-team communications, staff training, hiring, advertising

Skills:

-Fast Learner

-Able to think outside the box

-Computer savyy

-Social Media savvy (FB, IG)

-Familiarity with Quickbooks and Excel are an asset
