Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista / All Rounder to join our team. This position includes weekends some (Sat /Sun) with flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a love of customer service, providing an exceptional experience to our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As an All Rounder you will also maintain inventory levels, order stock and oversee coffee bar as well as kitchen duties.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all food items are handled safely and hygienically. Crafting gluten free, organic & vegan soups according to recipies provided as well as one creations.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
- Skills
- Experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in cashiering and cash handling procedures.
- Math skills for accurate order processing and change giving.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. As is Food Safety certification.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
