About the Position
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Host / Hostess to join our breakfast restaurant team. The Host is the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience.
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced breakfast environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage the seating of guests and maintain the rush.
- Answer phone calls and assist guests with questions .
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
- Monitor table availability and help maintain an efficient flow of guests.
- Assist with menus, takeout orders, and other guest requests as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area.
- Help with light restaurant duties when required.
- Handle guest concerns politely and bring issues to management when necessary.
- Follow all restaurant policies, health and safety standards, and customer-service procedures.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, positive, and welcoming personality.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Availability for early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
