We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Urdu Speaking Home Support Worker to join our team. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor health status, report changes or concerns promptly, and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements
- Fluent in Urdu with excellent verbal communication skills; proficiency in English is preferred
- Prior experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, hospice care, and disability support
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks involved in caregiving
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medication administration and record-keeping
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus but not mandatory
