Full Job Description:
Maintenance shop seeking a ’Reliable Experienced Trailer Mechanic’ to join our team who thrives in a hands-on environment and can work independently.
Duties, Responsibilities and Job Description
Apply if you meet the following:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Performing services to tractor trailers
- Ability to diagnose and repair various trailer models, repair any electrical, brake, air system and minor body repairs
- Welding and fabrication experience an asset. (repairs as needed for trailer bodywork or structural components)
- Class 5 or better license is required
- Work safely, compete tasks in a timely and tidy fashion
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Completing work orders
- Applicants must have own tools and safety boots
- Provide great attention to detail and take pride in their work
- Take daily directions and report to Shop Manager
- Assist with additional duties as required
This is a Full-Time, permanent position. Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
