About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic Digital Content Specialist to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media and content creation, with the skills to help shape our brand presence and engage audiences across multiple platforms. In this role, you’ll develop social media strategies, create engaging content, and collaborate with stakeholders to bring fresh ideas to life.

Hourly Pay Range: $24-29/hr.

What you’ll be doing
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with overall marketing objectives. Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, algorithms changes, and platform features.
- Social Media Management: Develop and manage our social media presence across multiple platforms i.e. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok.
- Content Creation: Plan and produce high-quality content (written, visual, and video) for social media channels. Coordinate with brand managers and the creative lead to ensure content algins with brand voice and goals. Light videography and video editing for social media content (short-form, video’s, stories, reels)
- Videography & Video Editing: Capturing video and editing for marketing projects and campaigns.
- Photography: Capture high- quality images for social media, campaigns, and other marketing demands.
- Copywriting: Producing compelling and creative written content for social media posts, captions, and campaign content
- Graphic Design: Ability to create simple and eye-catching designs and collaborate with designers on complex marketing projects.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years experience in social media management and content creation.
- Proficient in social media management tools i.e. Hootsuite, Brand Watch.
- Experience with videography and video editing software i.e. Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro.
- Understanding of SEO best practices for content.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field is an asset.
- Experience using google ads and press relations is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
