Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing piping systems and ensuring that they meet the required specifications and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent drafting skills, and proficiency in various design software. The Piping Designer will collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop efficient and effective piping solutions for our projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed piping designs and schematics using industry-standard software.
- Create and modify 3D models and drawings in tools such as Autocad, CADWorx and NavisWorks
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration on design reviews.
- Conduct thorough analysis of piping systems to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate piping designs with other systems using NavisWorks.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any technical challenges.
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proficient in drafting software such AutoCAD and CADWorx.
- Experience with Plot plans, PID's, Modelling and Detail Drawings.
- Familiarity with NavisWorks for model coordination is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality design documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A degree in EDDT, Mechanical Engineering or PPD.
