At Timberscapes, we are looking for a results driven, self starting Sales Associate to help grow our presence across Lake Simcoe and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will develop new business opportunities, build long term client relationships, and sell arborist and plant health care services to home owners who care deeply about their landscapes.

Objectives & Responsibilities
1. Drive Sales and Revenue Growth
- Promote the company and drive leads through local marketing and networking efforts including door knocking and calling leads.
- Manage and follow up on incoming residential and commercial leads
- Respond quickly to inquiries and schedule site visits promptly
- Meet clients on site to assess trees, plants, and site conditions
- Prepare and send detailed estimates, including short videos, for arborist and plant health care services
- Sell work on site when appropriate, including same day approvals
- Track leads, estimates, and sales activity in the CRM
- Work vigorously toward an annual sales target
- Coordinate closely with the operations and arborist teams to ensure smooth project handoff
2. Build and Maintain Strong Client Relationships
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing clients, from first contact through to closing
- Represent Timberscapes with professionalism and company knowledge
- Attend occasional local networking events to build and maintain strong relationships
Skills & Qualifications
Previous Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an arborist or similar role (sales, operations management, or previous owner of tree or plant healthcare company)
- Proven success in client-facing roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience selling to residential clients is an asset
Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with tree and plant healthcare
- Understanding of project timelines, equipment, and tasks related to arboriculture and tree and plant health care
- Ability to collect project details, and prepare or modify detailed estimates using technology
Communication and Sales Skills:
- Comfortable selling in person, over the phone, and via email
- Capable of presenting ideas clearly to clients, collaborators, and internal teams
- Skilled in asking good questions, handling objections, and closing deals
- Comfortable being on camera and making short videos explaining project details to clients
Technology:
- Proficient in CRM systems (Arbostar preferred)
- Comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Microsoft Word)
Other Requirements:
- Valid G driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle (Sales Car will be provided)
- Clean driving record
- Willing to work evenings and Saturdays during peak season
Compensation & Perks
Annual base salary of $52,000.
