Job Overview
We are a growing woodworking and manufacturing business seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Office Administrator to support our daily office, accounting, and customer service operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative work, bookkeeping tasks, and customer interaction in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Answer and direct customer calls regarding orders and general inquiries
- Monitor and organize the company email inbox
- Receive mail and file customer/vendor invoices
- Create customer invoices, packing slips, and monthly statements
- Process customer payments and follow up on overdue accounts
- Enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks Desktop
- Maintain employee files and timesheets
- Prepare PD7A summaries for payroll remittance
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor balances at month‑end
Qualifications
- Administrative or bookkeeping experience required
- Experience with purchase orders is an asset
- Experience in woodworking, construction, or manufacturing is preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
