Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities through personalized care and assistance. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and protocols
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to supervising healthcare professionals
- Support residents with activities of daily living tailored to individual needs
- Follow all safety procedures and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those suffering from dementia is advantageous
- Knowledge of medication administration and caregiving best practices
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks effectively
- Certification or training in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet client care requirements
