Assistant Store Supervisor
The Assistant Store Supervisor supports the Store Supervisor in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, leading and developing the store team, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and overseeing daily store operations. Reporting to the Retail District Manager and General Manager, this role is responsible for helping achieve sales goals, ensuring operational excellence, and representing the Hills Dry Goods brand with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the achievement of store and individual sales targets while leading by example on the sales floor.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and foster client relationships through in-store experiences and social media engagement.
- Assist with recruiting, training, coaching, and developing team members to achieve sales and performance goals.
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards in line with company guidelines and seasonal promotions.
- Oversee daily store operations, including POS, inventory, merchandising, scheduling, deliveries, and loss prevention.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and respectful workplace practices.
- Communicate effectively with Head Office and management, provide sales and operational updates, and participate in meetings.
- Promote company marketing initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance the customer experience and brand presence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall store success.
